A Community Christmas Carol Evening with The Mary How Trust

Mary How Trust Carol Service

We are delighted to have supported The Mary How Trust at their Christmas Carol fundraising event on Wednesday 14th December at St Mary’s Church in Pulborough.

Five members of the Petributes team were on hand to join in with carol singing and handing out mince pies and mulled wine to those who attended.

The Mary How Trust, based in Pulborough, offers a full health screening service which can find early signs of cancer, heart disease, diabetes or other health problems. Our founder, Richard Bush, has a close connection to the Trust after a screening detected symptoms of early-stage prostate cancer. With thanks to The Mary How Trust, Richard has now fully recovered.

Following Richard’s diagnosis, he was keen for all the staff at Petributes to have access to a health screening service and has since introduced, with the help of The Mary How Trust, a staff screening programme. Each member of the team has been offered a fully funded appointment to attend during working hours.

As The Mary How Trust is exempt from NHS funding, they rely completely on donations, either from their own fundraising events or based upon an individual’s ability to pay for their own screening.

In 2023 we will continue to support The Mary How Trust and the important work they do.

Adam Masters, Managing Director of Petributes had this to say, “As a business which celebrates family values, we are very proud to support The Mary How Trust at such a wonderful local event. Our team thoroughly enjoyed being involved, and it gave us all the opportunity to start the Christmas celebrations and highlight the work of this fantastic charity.”
