Furry Friends Animal Rescue is a home-run rescue located in Mayo, Ireland dealing with various types of animals including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, terrapins and smaller caged animals. We pride ourselves on being a non-destruct rescue, as well as operating a backup for life policy. We spend a great deal of time helping animals that are in danger of being put to sleep. It is easily forgotten how many animals are in danger of euthanasia simply because there are just not enough good homes and spaces in rescue to cope with the amount of unwanted animals there are, and we do our best to save as many as possible.
