My employment with Petributes began in July 2022. I had just graduated from university with a First Class BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, and I was looking for a position where I could obtain some work experience. After my two months of work experience, I knew it would be difficult to say goodbye to the Petributes family. Fortunately, I received an offer for the job of Creative Marketing Executive which I accepted with great pleasure and am greatly enjoying working with the Petributes family.
Within my role I oversee the creative aspects of the company, this can vary from designing brochures, creating advertisements to keeping our website up to date – anything creative they come to me!
A few of the highlights about working within Petributes are their kind, family atmosphere, the variety of work I am exposed to and the challenges I face within my design career.
Outside of work, one of my greatest loves is horses; I have loved them since I was a little girl. My mother, who started teaching me to ride when I was three, is the source of this passion. My mother and I had the blessings to own Jet Black, a small black Shetland pony. He was a character, but he was also spoiled and cherished, he was the size of an overgrown dog. In his later years, when I had outgrown him, he had become the family pet. I will always have a special place in my heart for him.
I have always loved performing with my flute, and I began learning to play when I was eight years old. Since then, I’ve performed in the West Sussex youth ensembles and bands. I’ve achieved Grade 8 from Trinity College London, and now that I’m home from university, I hope to complete my diploma in flute performance.
My late father was a property and land developer, and my grandfather was a cabinet maker, therefore I was exposed to creativity from a young age. I firmly believe that I received my creative talents from these individuals, even if they were artists in quite different professions.
In addition to utilising a computer for graphic design, I also enjoy using graphite to draw with and paint in any medium. I enjoy drawing a great deal of my inspiration comes from the natural world and my surroundings. This comes to life as I walk and explore West Sussex’s picturesque countryside.
I have dual nationalities being half English and half Italian. My family is a big part of my life. I love spending time with them over home-cooked meals and homemade wine. We visited Italy regularly over the years, and learning Italian allowed me to truly understand my heritage and share stories with friends and family. My final major project and dissertation for university were both heavily influenced by my Italian heritage. I made the decision to build and develop a brand-new meal subscription service based on traditional Italian principles and values. Additionally, I have family in Florida who I frequently visited before COVID, and I really enjoy travelling to see them and spending time with them.
My mother and I currently have an English Bull Terrier, Lemmy, who is 10 years old and is very affectionate and always wants to be your best friend. He is a character, caring, fun-loving with a strong need to please, charm, love, and protect us.
